1. Frame wallet setup

Frame wallet has the most flexible functionality to manage a DAO.

IMPORTANT: Before starting the Frame Wallet download via the link below please make sure that your browser has no Metamask extension installed, as it may cause instable work of both the Frame wallet and the browser, which may lead to errors.

Download Frame wallet via the following link: https://frame.sh/ The application is available for Windows, MacOS and Linux systems.

Installing a browser extension is also strongly recommended, which allows you to access your wallet without switching the windows. The extensions are available for Google Chrome (download) and Mozilla Firefox (download) browsers. You may also find them scrolling down the https://frame.sh homepage to find the links by clicking at the corresponding browser icon.

You would need to hold a certain amount of GT tokens on the wallet to manage your DAO. So in most cases DAO Managers hold their GT tokens on Metamask or other Web 3.0 wallet and import this wallet address to Frame for DAO management purposes.

Follow the steps below to setup your Frame wallet and import your wallet with GT tokens to manage your DAO:

Please take note that Frame Wallet needs at least 2 accounts created: one for the executor wallet and another for the DAO itself.

Step 1 - Adding a new Frame executor account

Add a new account/wallet by clicking the “+” at the upper right of the page. Click on "Add new accounts" and then select the "Seed phrase" option. Click on "Add new accounts" and then select the "Seed phrase" option. Copy and paste or type in the seed phrase of the wallet you want to import. If you are typing it manually please double-check the entered info to avoid errors. Press "Next" after the seed phrase is entered. Then you will be prompted to enter passcode which will unlock your account. Be cautious and write down you password in a safe place.

If the previous steps are performed correctly - you will see the added account on your Frame Wallet interface.

Step 2 - Connecting DAO to Frame Wallet

The first two steps are the same as the process above. Click the "+" at the upper-right corner and then the "Add new accounts" button as shown on the screenshots. After that select the "Aragon DAO" section to enter the name of your DAO(Full DAO name ex. berezkaflexdao, yolkadao). Clicking next will establish a connection of your DAO and the Frame Wallet, showing the connected DAO in the list of connected services.

Congratulations, the initial connection of your DAO and an executor account are complete!
